Excellent service

Dr. Andrabi performed a laparoscopic cholecsystectomy on me on 8/12/23. During my initial consult with Dr. Andrabi on 3/11/23, he showed me a video of the procedure which I found extremely informative as I am a person who appreciates detailed explanations about subjects with which I am not familiar. I also received a printed copy of the medical procedure to take home. Dr. Andrabi then explained very clearly my options regarding surgery or no surgery. It was not difficult for me to make a decision after reviewing all the information I was given. After the surgery, I was in no pain so I was discharged after an overnight stay at the Bays Hospital. My only issue is the fact that I was given a 5 day RX for long-acting Prolexia and 10 pills for short-acting Prolexia, neither of which I needed. I stopped taking the long-acting RX after 2 days. I consider the medication wasted. The side effects (constipation) were worse than the surgery! My post-surgical checkup lasted 5 minutes. Dr. Andrabi is very efficient and no nonsense. He doesn't waste his time or that of his patients!

I found Dr Vik to be knowledgeable, empathetic and helpful. My surgery was organized and executed very quickly.
