Mr Rohit Jain is the Clinical Director & Consultant Orthopaedic Hip, Knee & Trauma Surgeon at Medway Maritime Hospital NHS

Mr Rohit Jain has been awarded Clinical Excellence Award by the NHS Trust in 2019 for his genuine efforts in improving patient care and supporting teaching and training of young surgeons. He has accomplished his sub-specialist hip & knee arthroplasty training at the Orthopaedic and Arthritic Institute at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada, one of North America's leading hospitals for musculoskeletal care, education and research. During his time there he was awarded a Fellowship Diploma from the University of Toronto. This has been further complemented by Sir John Charnley Arthroplasty fellowship at the world-renowned Wrightington Hospital - a centre of Orthopaedic excellence in UK. His sub-specialist experience further includes National BOA Transitional Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship and the Academic Exchange Program at world renowned EndoKlinik in Germany.
Mr Jain is actively involved in teaching and training medical students and is the clinical and educational supervisor for junior doctors. He is an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor. Mr Jain is a trainer on FRCS Exam Revision courses and is on the panel of reviewers for the prestigious Bone and Joint Journal.

Mr Jain is warm and welcoming, he really cares for his patients! He has years of experience and knowledge and was very insightful in his explanation of the early findings. He quickly identified the suspected issue with my hip and what I really liked is that despite all the years experience and initial thoughts of what my hip problem is following the physical examination he then sent me for further x-rays, MRI etc. This is so that he can base treatment on facts. He does a thorough investigation and LISTENED to what I shared in terms of my medical history and problem with my hip. I am only half way through the journey and am yet to get my results, however he instilled trust and I know that I am in good hands.

If you are reading these reviews chances are you have joint pain which is horrid. I know as I have been there. I am delighted to say after having two complete-hip replacements three months apart by the best surgeon Mr Jain, I can now walk painfree. I was well looked after at One Ashford hospital both times and I would definitely recommend his skills at putting me back together again. It took weeks of excercises on my part but I got there in the end. Many thanks to you Mr Jain. Pauline

Following my visit with Mr.Jain on Tuesday I was pleased that my two hip replacements were healing well. Mr.Jain was very approachable in answering my questions during the aftercare appointment. I know I have more work to do to build up the strength in the left hip. I am very grateful to him that I can now walk again pain free. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr.Jain to family and friends. Pauline
