Let me continue my previous blog post with the Budapest design shop guide to best Hungarian souvenirs on the Buda side. Just like in Part 1, I’ll show you where to buy unique souvenirs and design products in Budapest.

This way you can support the local artists and have a special memory about your trip.
Budapest shopping guide to the best Hungarian souvenirs – Part 2. – Buda side

Hunny – pálinka • art • gift
From the name, you can guess what they sell 😉 You can find some typical Hungarian souvenirs like pálinka in different sizes, wines, paprika and cookbooks with some Hungarian recipes.
They also sell clothes, accessories, ceramics, household and kitchenware products. The most stylish souvenirs are the colourful postcards and posters by Béla Magyar and the creative Folqa collection with water bottles, figures representing the Hungarian characters in a funny way.
This store used to be FIAN Concept, but it moved closer to Matthias Church (see the next one).

FIAN Koncept Design Shop
This cool design store is close to Matthias Church in the Castle district, so after checking out the church and the Fisherman’s Bastion, it’s time for some shopping.
You can choose from amazing jewellery by MASTRO, calendars and pins by Malinovka, stylish bags by SERTEES bags, clothes, backpacks, jewellery and ceramics by Blacklist Design, notebooks, books and the unmissable Budapest postcards by Anita Nemes, Barbsiegraphy and DOT for you.

Prezent Shop
If you’re on the way from Gellert Hill to Castle Garden Bazaar (Várkert Bazár), stop at Prezent Shop, where you’ll have a chance to buy design souvenirs, as well as green products and delicacies.
The deli section offers Hungarian artisan chocolates by Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé, teas and herbal salts by Bazsalikomos kert and chutneys by Katyvasz.
In addition of sustainable products by shamobags like wooden cutlery, produce bags, wooden toys, the store also features backpacks, leather wallets, organic clothes (also for babies) by Touch Me Not Clothing, Pamut Apparel, Nove Designs, Rokka Design and plant dyed silk scarves by BOTANIKA.
Finally, pick one (or more) from the different styles of postcards, prints, posters, notebooks and magnets by Urban Sidewalker, Anita Nemes, Malinovka, paperchaing, papetri paperworks, Budapest pattern.

Repertory Concept Store
This stylish concept store sells designer clothes, bags and pieces of jewellery by Hungarian designers like DAIGE, the Mama Kin, SERTEES bags and Müskinn.
The displayed clothes, bags, Instax cameras, VaboWood plates, Anna Czakó ceramics, GreenWay candles, beauty products together create a perfect harmony with the colours and plants.
Even the cute dog of the friendly owner matches the design.

Szia+ (Szia Adománybolt)
First, enter Szia Adománybolt, then turn right to see Szia+ shop. The store is colourful, vivid and full of life, just like its unique products.
Buy some vintage and hipster clothes, bags, backpacks, tote bags in every colour, extreme sunglasses, colourful socks with crazy and funny patterns, rings, earrings and necklaces in unique and not average shapes.
