The story of Urban Sidewalker began in 2014 with Balázs, the artist and his friend, Máté. Balázs draws freehand and uses digital techniques only for colouring.

They started with maps capturing Budapest, its significant buildings and the Danube. If you are looking closely, you can discover tiny people on the streets of Budapest. Posters and postcards are available in many colour combination.

The illustrations of Zsolt Vidák

Zsolt Vidák is a super talented Hungarian artist. He had many exhibitions and his works were featured in international magazines.

Look at the details and the colours of the Anker Palace and the Széchenyi Thermal Bath (photos from WeLoveBudapest), his illustrations are AMAZING. The people, traffic, advertisements and the small details make the drawing more special and lively. He captures the daily life of Hungarians in a fun and colourful way.

Budapest silkscreen prints by Zita Majoros

Zita Majoros is the founder of Printa, which is one of the first environmentally conscious brands in Hungary. They produce clothing, tote bags, home accessories, notebooks and different kinds of souvenirs as well. A café and a Zero Waste Showroom are also part of the shop.

Natália Varga created these illustrations for Printa’s Budapest collection.

Anita Nemes studied typography and she creates Budapest-themed colouring books, logos, maps and prints. Her Budapest collection for MNG (Hungarian National Gallery) has been nominated in the “Product of the Year” category.

Bird’s eye view maps by Béla Magyar

Béla Magyar is a Hungarian architect, graphic artist and designer. He works freehand and with a digital pen on a digital tablet. His bird’s eye view maps are usually black & white, but he also draws colourful maps.

The artworks are available in different qualities. The high-quality giclée print achieves prints of superior quality and extremely long life without fading or changing colour. You can also buy his digital prints, posters, planners and notebooks.

László Nagy makes screen printed posters, book covers and amazing drawings of Budapest. His drawings are so detailed and I adore that only one part is colourful.

The Széchényi Bath collection captures the busy life of the bath inside and outside as well.

Osgyányi Sára’s paintings look very cool, I like the way she uses the colours. Her favourite subjects are the Liberty Bridge (Szabadság híd), Parliament, Chain Bridge (Lánchíd), the Danube and the yellow trams.
