Visited Hungary and tried out Sport szelet (Sport slice), the Hungarian chocolate bars? Sport szelet was produced 1st in Hungary in the ’50s, though after 1989 Kraft Foods bought the rights and continued to produce one of my favourite chocolate. I love its taste because of its chocolate and rum components.

How to make the Sport szelet chocolate bars?

On high heat, melt the butter with milk and sugar in a big pan. When the sugar is completely melted, lower the heat and mix for another 1-2 minutes.

Remove it from the heat and add the rum to the mixture (it will smell delicious).

First, mix in half of the grated biscuit, then add the cacao powder (it will smell even better..).

Stir half of the remained biscuits into the mixture, then add the last half (this way will be easier to mix everything well).

Place banking paper on the bottom of a baking dish, I used my 34×23 cm rectangular Tefal springform with removable frame. Put the pieces of the mixture equally into the bottom and push the chocolate base on it.

On low heat, mix the dark chocolate with the oil until it’s well combined. Then pour it on the chocolate base.

Allow the cake to completely cool before cutting.

Don’t necessary to keep in the fridge. Otherwise, it might be too hard. Just keep it at a cool place.
